We recently selected a panel of product testers who had the chance to trial a personalised selection of Dr. Hauschka products, including one of our NEW Day Lotions that was most suitable for their specific skin condition. For 28 days they were required to follow a simple morning and evening skincare routine consisting of cleansing, toning and moisturising.

I have worked with and recommended your products often, however, I have never had the opportunity to try out your full range. When I think of my experience with your product 3 specific words come to mind ….Gentle, Luxurious, Effective. Dr Hauschka is not your average skincare routine because it is a personalised daily approach to skin health. As a homeopath, I understand the importance of tailoring treatment to the patient’s specific needs – this is exactly what you have done. I also love that it is a natural and organic approach to skincare. The negative long-term effects that all the “nasties” in skin and body care products have on our system are becoming more apparent in our community. This is what sets your product apart, Dr Hauschka actively contributes to my overall health. After using your recommended protocol for almost a month my skin feels like a million dollars – and I am not exaggerating. In short, wearing a full face of base and concealer is 100% not necessary. I LOVE THIS!
Improvements:
- Cleaner skin – my fiancé has asked me on three separate occasions if I have been for a facial lol.
- Clearer skin – not in the sense of acne, as luckily I am not suffering from this, but I can see my little freckles (yay!). I feel that I can clearly see the integrityof my skin.
- Pore size – I naturally seem to have larger pores, but the pores on my cheeks have substantially reduced in size. I still struggle a bit on the sides of mynose, but I plan to continue with this regime to receive maximum benefit. I think the facial toner has helped with this.
- Reduced oiliness – The balancing day lotion is wonderful, as there is no oiliness that develops as the day progresses. I used to struggle with thisconstantly.Overall my skin feels beautiful, so thank you as this is the year of my wedding and finding something that I know I can comfortably use, without the risk of breakouts and rashes, is great. I am super chuffed.

You have changed my life!
Before using this range from Dr. Hauschka I struggled with blind pimples and whiteheads around my chin area. Within a week they reduced by half and I haven’t gotten one blind pimple since using the range.
I was sceptical (about not using an oil-based night cream) not feeling “glowy” before going to bed at night, but now my face has stopped being so oily during the day! I highly recommend this range to everyone!

I absolutely adored using the Dr Hauschka products for the past 28 days – and my skin is definitely in agreement with me!
My favorite products were the two cleansers – the cleansing milk and the cleansing cream. They both left my skin feeling so clean and soft, but still moisturised and not at all tight like some cleansers tend to do. I also loved that you sent through videos on how to use them correctly!
I enjoyed the day cream too, I did find the smell a bit strong but otherwise it was lovely – my skin felt moisturised without being oily and I found that I no longer have that oily T-zone by midday – a definite winner in my books!
I wasn’t a huge fan of the Night Serum – I felt that I needed something a bit more moisturising and my skin was left feeling a bit tight and sticky.
Overall I can definitely say that the texture of my skin has improved and that my pores seem significantly smaller/tighter, the overall tone is also much better. It didn’t do too much for my pigmentation, but I think that would take much longer to show results.

The products I enjoyed the most were the morning Cleansing Cream and the Facial Toner. The Cleansing Cream left my skin feeling so healthy and smooth. I’ve had some issues with roughness on my cheek, and now it is totally smooth…and my hands just glide over my cheek.
What I liked about the Facial Toner was that it’s in a spray form – which I haven’t used before. I feel it definitely cools your face and evenly distributes the product.

Impressed is an understatement.
The Cleansing Cream is a godsend for daily skin impurities. The cleansing cream vows to gently remove makeup and impurities and I can confidently say it does. The unique cleansing method allows for an even cleanse whilst still being gentle and kind to the skin. With a full face of makeup, I started day one of my trial with the night time cleansing routine. The night time routine lived up to its specific goal to remove makeup, dust and pollution from your skin through gentle cleansing. I had water resistant mascara on and much to my surprise, when I stepped out of the shower, I had no racoon eyes! My skin felt hydrated and nourished (a major plus for me!) whereas with my previous products, my skin felt instantly dry and tight.
The Facial Toner has a delightful scent and is ultra absorbent. It did not leave an oily residue on my skin which was a wonderful surprise. As I have combination skin, a product that is extremely oily does not agree with me. The Night Serum is designed to renew and refresh your skin whilst you sleep and this product definitely lived up to its stellar reputation. The active ingredients included in the Night Serum allow your skin to actively work whilst you enjoy your slumber. My skin felt amazing the next morning: hydrated, plump and wonderfully dewy.
At first, I was a little sceptical when I saw the texture of the Cleansing Cream but my worries were quickly corrected when I used the correct technique. I absolutely loved how this made my skin feel. Soft, hydrated and clean – almost spa like. All the products I have used so far are ultra absorbent and light on the skin with a wonderfully refreshing scent. I used the Facial Toner as per normal and then tried the Balancing Day Lotion. I loved the lightweight feel of the product and its quick absorption. As a woman constantly on-the-go, I love that my skin did not feel greasy upon application. However, I would recommend the addition of an appropriate SPF in my day time moisturiser.
My key target areas focused on alleviating the dreaded “maskne” and scarring left from those unwelcome and inflamed friends that pop up occasionally on the surface of the skin. Throughout my 28-day journey, I have seen a significant improvement in the texture of my skin. The scarring has lightened and for the first time in a very long time, I felt confident enough to pop out without some sort of coverage. I had no breakouts in this 28-day period, even after a highly stressful work trip and insane deadlines. The products are lightweight and the cleansing routine was easy enough to follow even when I was not in the comfort of my own home. I cannot emphasise enough how revolutionary this is!
Not one single pimple appeared, even during that time of the month! If I was sceptical before, the track record of Dr Hauschka’s incredible products have proven otherwise. Impressed is an understatement! I received wonderful feedback from my peers where they all stated that they have seen a remarkable difference in my skin’s texture, pore size and overall appearance.
All in all, I would highly recommend Dr Hauschka Skin Care products because they actually deliver on what they promise. It’s not filled with a million tools or instructions. It’s clear, easy to follow, and honest. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity Dr. Hauschka Skin Care!

Soothing Day Lotion
For dry, sensitive skin
Dr. Hauschka has definitely gained a new fan!
“All I have to say is OMG! When I started out, my skin had been in the process of healing from severe acne and I had blackheads and pimples that were stubborn to get rid of. For the first couple of days it was a bit of a struggle for me and I found that it looked like my acne was getting a bit worse but I carried on because I remembered my dermatologist saying that skincare requires patience and you won’t see instant results…and he was right!
I started seeing major changes in the second week… my pimples had gone and my blackheads were almost non-existent and I became way brighter! Dr Hauschka has definitely gained a new fan – it certainly helped my pimples and I am a step closer to having clear skin. I don’t think I could ever “leave it” after seeing such a transformation. I am even able to wear makeup without my skin forming new pimples. I am so grateful. I have started recommending it to all my other friends who have had similar issues.
My favourite products were the Facial Toner, the Soothing Day Lotion and the Night Serum. The products didn’t even harm my skin and I find that other products normally harm my skin. I am so grateful for this opportunity to be one of the selected testers. Rating: 9/10.”

Dr Hauschka Soothing Day Lotion: As a woman who suffers from redness, this product seemed the most appealing to me from the range. I immediately tried it when I opened the box as it excited me so much! The best part about this lotion is the lightweight formula. It also lives up to its claims and got rid of my redness after just 10 minutes. That’s quite remarkable, in my books. A real treat to use and a product that I have recommended to almost everyone. I can’t wait for it to properly launch to the public! Consumers are going to love it. It also works well with my foundation and doesn’t pearl. Gorgeous! Rating: 9/10
Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream: My skin felt properly cleansed and fresh after each use. No tightness or dryness whatsoever. The smell is also wonderful – I’m a HUGE fan of chamomile and sweet almond, it’s no wonder I looked forward to each face wash. I’d repurchase this in a heart beat. Rating: 8/10
Dr Hauschka Soothing Cleansing Milk: I loved the feeling of applying this product to my skin. The smell transported me back to a spa treatment on a tropical island and the product itself was quite therapeutic. It’s super lightweight and my redness didn’t flare up at all. It definitely soothes the skin. As far as makeup removers go, this wasn’t one of the strongest I’ve used as there were still bits of foundation on my white towel after I’d used the product. That’s OK though – I wouldn’t use it as a makeup remover per se, but rather as a second cleanser when I wanted to double cleanse. I’d then use a separate makeup remover. Bonus marks for not drying out my skin which is usually so sensitive and prone to dryness. Rating: 7/10
Dr Hauschka Night Serum: Wow. What a product. Probably one of the best night-time serums I’ve ever used. I used this product sparingly because of the size of the tube. After relatively late nights, I would apply this serum to my skin to test if my complexion looked revitalized in the morning and I woke up to bright, rejuvenated-looking skin every time. I’d buy this in bulk. A must for tired-looking skin in need of a pick-me-up. Rating: 8/10
Dr Hauschka Facial Toner: Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of toner as they dry out my skin. I often skip this skincare step. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t found the right toner? Cue the Dr Hauschka Facial Toner – one that I truly cannot fault. I love everything about this product: the way it feels on my skin after cleansing, the pump dispenser, the scent. It’s beautiful! So delicate! My skin appeared ‘healthier’ and more radiant after introducing this product into my skincare routine and now it’s a necessity. I simply have to use it everyday. Rating: 7/10

Revitalising Day Lotion
For dull, dehydrated skin
It left my skin glowing and feeling soft.
It’s been exactly a month since I started using my gorgeous goodies from Dr Hauschka and I am in love. My kit consisted of the Cleansing Cream, Soothing Cleansing Milk, Facial Toner, Night Serum and their new Revitalising Day Lotion. I really enjoyed using these products and each time felt like a pampering self- care session. I am very conscious about what I put on my skin so I appreciate the fact that their products are completely natural and free from synthetic fragrances, dyes and preservatives. They are made with essential oils ( which, as you may or may not know, I am completely obsessed with) and smell absolutely divine. What’s unique about this range is that the night time routine doesn’t include a heavy cream, but rather a light water- based serum which allows skin to breathe and renew itself as you sleep. Another thing that I liked is that the toner can also be spritzed over make -up or you can keep it in your bag and use it as a facial mist on days when you need that extra hit of moisture.
The results: Although I don’t have extremely problematic skin, I do have a few concerns which include blackheads and hormonal acne which usually surface along my jawline every month just before my period; as well as dehydration. There was a noticeable change in my skin from day one.
The Revitalising Day Lotion may be light in texture but it packs a real punch when it comes to hydration.
It left my skin glowing and feeling soft and plump, and I didn’t experience that tightness I usually feel when the season changes. After 2 weeks of use I noticed that the pigmentation from my old acne scarring was starting to fade. Also, the massive pimple that usually pays me a visit on my chin just before that time of the month? It was nowhere to be found this time. I love products that deliver on their promises, and Dr Hauschka did not disappoint.

A previous Dr. Hauschka Skincare user’s experience.
I have been using the skincare range for the last 3 weeks. This is not the first time I’ve used Dr Hauschka. I used your range on and off, the last time being 2 years ago. So I have been doing the Dr. Hauschka method and not using any moisturiser for the last 15 years. I would sometimes use a serum in winter but no creams. I have not exfoliated regularly and even though my skin has an even texture and I have been on a whole food plant-based diet for many years, this is what I found:
- In the first two weeks, my skin had an obvious glow. Think the cleanser in the evening did a gentle exfoliation. People around me commented.
- The Soothing Day Lotion is fine. I have had no issues with it. However, the few occasions that I did use make-up, I found that I needed to put extra primer. I’ve used Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream in the past and this works well for uncover make-up. There was no reaction to the Day Lotion with my eyes or my skin. I presume that it would be quite a nice light lotion for the warmer months. Also, living in Gauteng, our climate is very dry.
- In the evenings, I found that the Night Serum was not sufficient in the sense that my face felt dry and like it was pulling. I used extra toner in the evening to counter that and it helped somewhat but not completely.
- Now, finishing the 3rd week of use, I am noticing fine lines around my mouth. I presume that this is due to my age (47years), our dry climate and the colder months. A richer cream, possibly the one for mature skin, would be better suited for these months.
- In conclusion, my skin definitely looks better than when I started, albeit it feels a bit dry to me. I seem to have a ‘glow’ and don’t really look my age. I plan to continue using the range going forward.
